Appel Realty delivers Logistic Warehouse in Almere
Appel Realty has completed the development of a new Distribution Center at Stichtse Kant 3 in Almere.
The project comprises approximately 26,728 m² of warehouse space, 1,718 (1,483 + 235) m² of office space, 3,514 m² of mezzanine, and 221 parking spaces.
The Distribution Centerhas been leased to Mascot Online for a 10 year term. The building was developed to meet high sustainability standards and has achieved a BREEAM Excellent certification.
Hercuton was responsible for the construction of the Ditribution Center, which was successfully completed and delivered to Mascot Online in Q3 2026.
Appel Realty advised Patrizia with biggest single asset deal of 2022 (230 millio euros)
Patrizia achieved the largets single asset in 2022 from DHG, called SMARTLOG Maasvlakte. Smartlog is een logistic development of 233.000 m² located at a 30 hectare plot of land at “Distripark Maasvlakte West”.
The distribution center is divided in 10 DC’s and is de largest logistic development in the Netherlands.
Earlier Patrizia bougt a portfolio of distribution centres of DHG for approximately 131 million euros.
Appel Realty acquires landmark building in Amsterdam
Appel Realty has acquired a beautiful landmark office building located at Oosterburgervoorstraat in Amsterdam together with Millten.
The office building is situated next to the well known Van Gendthallen at Oosterburgervoorstraat 42-180 in the center of Amsterdam. The building consists of approximately 6,800 m² of office space and appr 60 parking spaces. Appel Realty and Millten have started the renovation and redevelopment per januari 1, 2025.
The building will be completely renovated and turned into a high-end office building with the latest standards with regard to sustainability. Th building will hold a Breeam Excellent certificate and will be Paris proof.
— About Pim Appel
After completing his law studies in Amsterdam, Pim Appel started working in 1997 for the internationally oriented real estate consultancy firm Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). Pim worked at the Retail agency department, office agency apartment and Capital markets. In 2004 Pim was co-founder and co-owner of the successful Appelhoven Real estate advisors. In 2021, after 17 years, Appelhoven stopped and Pim founded Appel Realty.
Pim specializes in investment transactions. In his almost 25 years of experience, he advised in more than 3 billion euros of investment transactions. He also assisted a large number of tenants in the (re-)location of their current or new office and/or logistics accommodation, such as PVH (a.o. Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein), DENHAM The Jeanmaker, Scotch & Soda, Fysiomed, Robert Walters and Dayes. Pim is known for his drive, professionalism, patience and approachability.
Furthermore Pim developed a sustainable high end logistic center of approximately 70,000 sq.m. in Amsterdam for Fetim B.V.
